Similarly to the M55 Terminus, the M55 Riviera is also a limited edition electric bicycle. Each bike is numbered from 1 to 999. The Riviera is fully street-legal as it comes with an internationally certified BionX hub motor - the best of its kind. It is also one of most advanced and lightest e-bike systems currently available with only 37 lbs (17 kgs) and a top range of 65 miles (105 km) on a single charge. The entire frame and all other titanium parts on the bicycle are PVD coated after rigorous hand polishing, which makes the frame practically unscratchable. Indeed, it is the same exact coating that is used on precision tools for the medical industry to prevent any scratching. The titanium parts are laser etched, so they will never wear off. The Italian made Formula brakes are custom-made for the Riviera. These brakes are among the most advanced and strongest ones available today. As a safety feature, when the brakes are pulled the electric motor shuts off right away.
